Hi Joann,

try to reinstall the drivers completely from your computer and then reinstalling from the Canon official website.

Use the below link to remove the printer drivers from the device manager,

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-in/library/cc725782.aspx

Then restart your computer.

Download and install the printer drivers from https://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support

Remove the Usb cable before you start the installation and insert it when it ask you to.

and then take a test print.

If you have any trouble following these steps do post back.

Thanks

Hi Joann,

Check if you have any print queue , if yes remove the print queues and then try printing ,

how to remove the print queue ?

Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and you will find the print queues ,select all the files and then delete them from the folder.

Before doing that you need to stop the printer services and how do you do that, here's how to stop the print spooler services:-

Click on the Start Button, select Run. In the run dialogue type "services.msc" and click OK. Locate "Print Spooler" in the list of services, right click and select Stop, Start or Restart as required

Now remove the print queue and then re start the print spooler services.

Try printing!!!!

Thanks
